The PNP-controlled legislature attacks trans rights

In Puerto Rico, the recently passed Law 63-2025 bans all gender-affirming medical care for individuals under 21-years-old. It criminalizes the very act of supporting them. Parents, doctors, therapists, social workers — now all face the threat of up to 15 years in prison, a $50,000 fine, and permanent loss of licenses.
